SharePoint 2013 Zertifizierungen: Eine Übersicht
Für IT-Pros ist der Microsoft Zertifizierungspfad bereits vorgegeben. Leider sind aktuell noch keine Zertifizierungsmöglichkeiten für SharePoint 2013 Entwickler bekannt.
Höchstwahrscheinlich wird dabei aber folgende Prüfung im Spiel sein:

The most important thing here is actually not what we can expect, it's more about what we can't expect to get. It looks like there will be no support for a visual web page editor in SharePoint Designer 2013.
With SharePoint Server 2013 embracing new web standards for client side rendering of pages such as JavaScript, JSON, and OData, there is no longer a need to support a visual web page editor within SharePoint Designer.

Outlook Kontakte in SharePoint oder warum wird nicht alles gespeichert?
Microsoft SharePoint bietet die grandiose Möglichkeit, eine Kontaktliste auf einem beliebigen Web zu erstellen. Somit können einfach Kontakte zentral verwaltet werden und mit ein paar Klicks ist eine solche Liste erstellt.
Standardmässig sind dabei allerdings nur die folgenden Felder vorhanden:
Interessant ist die Liste natürlich erst dann, wenn diese auch gepflegt und genutzt wird. Eine Kontaktliste kann sehr einfach in Microsoft Outlook integriert werden.
Wer nun aufmerksam gelesen hat, stellt schnell fest dass wir in Outlook viel mehr Felder haben, als unsere List überhaupt aufnehmen kann. Z. B. nützt die Angabe einer privaten Adresse in Outlook gar nichts; es wird nicht in SharePoint gespeichert! Autsch... An und für sich macht es aus SharePoint Sicht ja auch Sinn, denn die nötigen Spalten für die privaten Adressangaben sind nicht Teil der Liste.
Der Trick, den wir nun Anwenden hat einmal mehr mit SharePoint Content Type zu tun. Die noch fehlenden Felder können wir uns nun über vorhandene Websitespalten auf unsere Liste hinzufügen:
Jetzt versuchen wir nochmals, die private Adresse in Outlook zu speichern und voila, die Daten sind nun auch in der SharePoint List zu finden.
Lessons Learned:
Beim Synchronisieren von Outlook Kontakten mit SharePoint lohnt es sich, nicht mit der Standardliste zu arbeiten sondern alle nötigen Angaben noch aus dem Content Type "Kontakt" zu holen.

Visual Studio 2012 und. NET 4.5: Final Builds Done
Heute wurde bekannt, dass die finalen builds von Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 und. NET 4.5 abgeschlossen wurden.
Die lang erwarteten Verfügbarkeitsdaten sind endlich bekannt:
Für MSDN Subscribers steht die neuste Microsoft IDE bereits ab 15. August zum Download bereit.
Der offizielle weltweite Launch ist für den 12. September 2012 geplant, Soma Somasegar, Brian Harry und Jason Zander werden per Livestream die Neuerungen von Visual Studio 2012 präsentieren.
